Communicating in the traditional sense has
always been a challenge for Brandon Drucker.
But with colored pencils, or paint in his hands,
the Fort Lauderdale man can express himself
in a way few others can only dream of. The
20-year-old man, who graduated from Coral
Springs High School, is one of the founding
members of Artists with Autism, a South
Florida networking group that just recently celebrated

Her request was granted and sparked an idea among the centerís staff to develop an exhibition based on it.

The Sincerity Project will feature works by Francie Bishop Good, Skot Olsen, Leah Brown, JoAnn Nava and 37 other local artists. Alongside the artworks will be artistic interpretations by Norval Hall, Troy L. and other special-needs clients from organizations such as Artists With Autism, Henderson Mental Health Center, South Florida State Hospital and the Ann Storck Center. While each interpretation shares the title of the artwork that inspired it, artists were free to interpret each work however they wished.

The show will open from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5 and run through Sept. 30 at Studio 18, 1101 Poinciana Drive, in Pembroke Pines. Artists also...
